In the early 1970s, Colia Louis sourced a landmark building at a bargain price and offered it to an established client. The client's response, "If it's such a bargain, why don't you buy it?" inspired the formation of the Group's property strategy, which has been to co-invest in property purchases and then maximise the investment by providing a comprehensive building management service. Over the following years, Louis Group has offered its clients the opportunity to co-invest in private property investment opportunities. Louis Group has extended its global reach in property partnerships to South Africa, England, Germany and Switzerland.

The investment is further enhanced by the fact that Louis Group offers the investors non-recourse access to institutional finance, a professional property management service to manage the asset, and a property brokerage service to ensure healthy tenant relationships and the mechanisms to dispose of the asset at an appropriate time.

Louis Group Trustees provide a range of fiduciary services from its operations in South Africa, which include the formation and administration of companies, trusts and foundations. Our strategic approach to advising our clients on their investments includes a consideration of their estate planning requirements and establishing appropriate and robust structures to help ensure the preservation of the value of their assets.
