Komsberg Farming produces export table grapes which are sold through the finest retailers in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Far East and Russia.
The spectacular Komsberg farm is in Namibia, a neighbouring state of South Africa, and stretches 56km along the picturesque Orange River. The farm is rated as one of the best Table Grape Producers in Namibia with more than 220 hectares currently under irrigation with additional hectares soon to be developed. The agricultural experts on the farm utilise state-of-the-art technology in order to ensure that the quality of the grapes remain world class and the Komsberg Farm has been accredited by Eurogap, Nature's Choice and Fair Trade.
Komsberg Farming was recently awarded the first Green Scheme by the Namibian Government which encourages the transfer of Agricultural skills to black small scale farmers. The farming methods currently adopted allow Komsberg to extend their efforts to include Hoodia (Appetite Suppressant), essential Oils and the Jatropha plant to produce Biofuel. Also a small game park and 5-star lodge for eco-tourism is in preparation.

Komsberg Farming not only invests in export table grapes, but demonstrates its emphasis on uplifting the community through its significant investment in the development of a Community Centre, Crèche and an agricultural training facility. These facilities serve to address the pressing needs of the people who work on the land and care for the medical, educational and social well-being of the community directly responsible for the success of the farm.
As part of its broader strategic initiative, the Komsberg Farm is considering developing an elegant lodge on the land in order to encourage ecotourism in Namibia. The Louis Group has identified Namibia as a strategic SADL investment and has several projects identified for the country to create additional employment opportunities for the people living in the area.
