SMARTSURV Wireless, a member company of Louis Group International (LGI), has begun development of its new head office at Century City.
This technology company has developed several wireless products and solutions to improve on the options available in the vehicle surveillance and navigation industries.
"SmartSurv Wireless was established to address the growing demand for wireless and machine-to-machine solutions in South Africa," said Dean Louis, CEO of the technology division, "and we are pleased that we are able to build the head office at Century City because we believe the precinct is a world-class environment from which to manage a dynamic organisation."
SmartSurv Wireless, who introduced the world`s first vehicle safety, security and tracking device on GPRS technology last year, is set to release SmartRoute, an off-board navigation device which makes hi-tech gadgetry available to the average driver.

"All the benefits of onboard navigation technology normally only available to the owners of top-end motor vehicles will now be available as an off board product on qualifying cell phones," said Louis.
The building, which is one of Louis Group International`s current developments, was designed by Century City architects Maas & Coetzee and development was placed with the team at Stabilid (Cape).
The building is 2500m² and hosts a mix of retail and office space.
It enjoys a modern design which includes double volume shop frontage and an open terrace on the first floor.
Construction on the site began in March and should see SmartSurv Wireless functioning from its new home in October.
